Adele Barnes
Head of Theatre
and Education
Adele co-directed our first show 'Officer's Errors' alongside Matt in April 2022.
​
Adele will also be starring in Series 2 of Struggle (working title) as well as focusing on our Education Outreach programme that is currently in development.
​
Adele does a bit of everything, from playing countless instruments to a high standard, to incorporating Laban in her work: Adele can do whatever you need, which makes her a key member of OTC.
Matt Cuff
Artistic Director
Matt co-directed our first show 'Officer's Errors' alongside Adele at Rose Bruford College, whilst also writing it.
Matt has also been writing our debut TV Miniseries Struggle (working title) and writing our debut Short Film (as yet untitled).
Lauren Lynn

Lauren was integral to the creation of OTC in its developmental phase 4 years ago, and now heads up the Screen side.

Lauren is currently starring as Kara in Struggle Series 1.

Tom first performed with OTC in 'Officer's Errors' as our trusty barman, Sam.

Tom's also been crewing Struggle Series 1.

An oustanding Brass player, specialising in Trombone, Trumpet and Euphonium, Tom is here for all your brassy needs. He's most recently performed with Beer Belly and a new up-and-coming duo Ankle Bashers, so keep your eye out for what he's got in store!

From working behind the scenes in the music industry in A&R and management, Sam offers a unique skillset to OTC with his wealth of knowledge in social media promotion, liaising with clients and administration. Sam will be backbone of OTC as he looks to stabilise the company's expansion in a safe, organic and profitable way.
Luke Beattie
Chief
Advisor
Luke holds a PhD in Early Modern Dramaturgy and has been a drama school department head. He has acted across all media internationally, and has also worked professionally as both a director and a playwright. For Off the Cuff, Luke performed the role of Sean in Struggle Series 1.

Our debut show, at Rose Bruford College. Officers' Errors was about the small town of Allsgor. A crook had stolen Sergeant Hark's keycard, meaning they could free prisoners and access confidential information.The audience had to work with the police department to find out where it was, and who had stolen it. Through questioning Allsgor Residents, searching for clues and finding keys, would the audience manage to save the day, or would the criminal get away?

Struggle is about Sean (a stepdad) struggling to build a relationship with Archie (his stepson) after Archie's Mother, Alice, died. Unsure of what to do, Sean googles it and begins watching a therapist (Kara) on YouTube. Struggle sees how Sean muddles his way through bonding with Archie, whilst simultaneously developing a relationship with Kara. But how will Archie react? Will they find that bond? Are either of them really over Alice's death?

Sean has a rocky relationship with his step son, Archie. After the passing of his wife, Archie's mother, Alice, Sean hasn't known what to do. Will now be the time he saves his relationship? Will a YouTuber be able to help? Will Susie ever stop thinking about herself?
